Admissions Process (K-8)
Key Dates for Grades K through 8 (for 2012 – 2013 enrollment)
February 1, 2012 – Deadline for submitting the Admissions Application and Fee
March 10, 2012 – Admissions decisions mailed to applicants
April 10, 2012 – Deadline for new enrollment contracts and deposits to be returned
April 11, 2012 – Rolling Admissions begins for any remaining openings
The Application Process
Open Houses: Attend one of our Open Houses to tour Riverbend School, and chat with faculty, administrators, and parents of current students.
School Visit: Schedule a visit to tour Riverbend when school is in session to learn how the Montessori philosophy is incorporated into our curriculum, and observe how our students interact with each other and with their teachers.
Admissions Application: Our application deadline is February 1, 2012, and can be downloaded here. The application also includes a Release of Student Records so that we can obtain your child’s past and current school records.
Application Fee: Each application must include a non-refundable fee of $50.
Student Visit: Once we have received the Admissions Application, we will contact you to arrange for your child’s visit. The length of the visit will depend on your child’s age. Our main goal during the visit is to make your child feel at home, as we all assess whether Riverbend School is the right fit.
